Anonymous asked: Could you post a picture of your nail polish collection at some point? id love to see what fabulous colors you have! also what are your favorite OPI reds? I’m looking for a nice burgandy/maroon color and your nails are always perfectly polished!

for starters, this is just a peek into my collection of polish. 

i’ll be the first to admit, it’s ridiculous.

it started as one bottle, then multiplied into a hundred or so.

it wasn’t a quick fix either (addiction never is),

this beauty-shop-equivalent evolved over several months.

that’s how it’s justified anyway.

regardless, OPI is usually my go-to.

how can you resist those quirky names?

and my favorite recommended red? “i’m not really a waitress”

i lean more toward blue-reds than i do orange-reds  (i’m guessing you’re much the same).

also, it should be noted that this is a shared collection of lacquer. 

i blame it on Mama J- after all, she started my love affair with brightly colored polish at a very young age.

i wouldn’t have it any other way.

daily outfit: the “so many sassy stripes” edition.

last spring, i bought this dress (yes, those 3/4 sleeves are attached) on a whim.

it was love at first sight but i knew i would have to wait until the fall/winter to actually wear it.

well, i am here to say, after slipping this pretty little thing on twice so far this season, 

i can confirm, it was truly love at first sight & oh, man, it was so worth the wait.
