Nerdtastic Post of the Day: these pens are amazing.

i opened up a new package yesterday (containing all the lovely colors, of course)

& they are easily my new favorites.

while i still adore my Flairs,

these might be around [& refilled] for many months to come.

three things i adore:

1. an excuse to write a love letter

2. snail mail

3. stylish stationery

and now, thanks to e (& izak zenou for creating such lovely stationery which i selfishly want to claim somewhat resembles me), i am patiently anxiously awaiting this quad of beauties so i can pen my pals.

how glamorous has my life been lately?

• wearing thermal pajamas all day long
• doctor diagnosed laryngitis and minor bronchitis
• surrounded by books
• curled under blankets
• finalizing a twenty-page paper
• preparing for a paper presentation
• drinking copious amount of hot-whatever-i-can-get-my-hands-on
• the final week of classes
• hair up like a hot mess

on a scale from zero to pretty frickin’ nerdtastic….

simple pleasure of the day: a brand new box of flairs..making me infinitely happy since 1989 when i started stealing flairs from mama j’s never-ending collection of pens in order to write “brooke” on absolutely any available space lacking a bit of my love… walls, newspapers, construction paper, macaroni & cheese boxes, counter tops, the bible in church, etc.
