seeing that i’m closer to 6 feet than i am to 5 feet, finding a maxi dress that hits the floor poses quite the fashion challenge—a challenge i’m willing to battle!
Jaclyn posted this dress from ASOS a couple weeks ago & i fell in love with its simplicity..
so, i ordered it (with the help of a Cup of Jo promo code) & received it last night.
on the model, it’s obviously long enough to wear with heels,
on me, i’ll be wearing it with flat sandals.
the fabric is fantastic, the fit is perfection & i couldn’t be more pleased with this beaut!
(as always, thanks for a terrific find, Jaclyn! xo)
daily outfit: the “BOOM!” edition.
who knew a t-shirt could deliver so much sass to one’s life? i didn’t, but it definitely does.
i spotted this tee a few weeks ago & decided it would be cute with leggings & some boots this fall- maybe to wear around the house, out running errands, lounging on the couch on Sunday fundays, etc.
but then, this morning, as i was flipping through hangers, i decided i might as well wear it to the work place.
(a 1/2 day seems like a justifiable excuse, right?)
i picked out some skinnies, a pair of Frye boots, a bright colored boyfriend cardigan, a giraffe-printed hair bow & got myself a delightful concoction.
gpoyw: the day of Grandma’s 80th birthday (related: it’s Mama J!)
i had no idea what i was going to wear-
it’s something i typically plan out weeks in advance
(i’ve been that way since i was little)
so, like any good fashion detective,
i went to the source.
in one picture, i found the dress, the necklace, and the overall had-to-have look.
- Asos dress
- Nordstrom belt
- necklace via eBay. <—i got it for free because the seller was a mayjah fraud! #truestory
- Maria Sharapova for Cole Haan sandals
this summer, i’m attending a pretty-in-pink-esque bridal shower.
perfect?
