Zoom saying this place brings me peace of mind would be a huge understatement. taking advantage of the opportunity to get away,  drive on gravel roads,  blast music with the windows down, be surrounded by miles & miles of corn, hear trains passing in the distance, visit some of my absolute favorite dive-bars, breathe in that fresh country air, & spend time with people who truly understand me to my core… it’s gotta be way than peace- more like an understanding of how incredibly fortunate i am to experience & understand that some of the best moments in life are not store bought, but actually lived out in the country.
