![thirty-five years ago, these early-twenty-something lovebirds said, “i do,” in front of a quaint crowd of fourteen-hundred friends.
after all these years,
after three lovely children (*wink wink*),
after life-altering health scares,
after memories made laughing with loved ones,
after numerous trips traveling back & forth to Memorial Stadium,
after one adventure followed by the next,
i can wholeheartedly say,
they love each other more today than they did that day,
thirty-five years ago, in a small town in the middle of Nebraska.
